Where can one get a mate for the ISO adapter? What is the ISO adapter specification?

What is the name of the the black twin block of 8 conductors each? The other end of this double connector wire bundle plugs directly into the back of the Pumpkin 27-AQTU73. What is the name of the female mate? I would like to connect the wires to a female mate so that it is easy to disconnect.

Metra 70-1784 is what comes with the Pumpkin.
Metra 71-1784 is its mate.
It is common on German cars such as Volkswagon, Audi, BMW - so a junkyard has tons of these. i cut mine out of a German car from the junkyard.

Some techs refer to it as a "Reverse Wiring Harness".

Most US based automobile car stereo installers seemingly refuse to work with these adapters, they prefer to cut off the end, and splice.

There must be a complete pinout diagram of this ISO connector already here on the forum, but where?

First HERE on the forum: http://www.autopumpkin.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1731

Hi,
sorry for the late reply .
I am puzzled by your problem .
Do you mean that there is not a suit connector in your car for our power cable of the unit?
Could you tell us your car model number ? We try to help you.
Regards
