The DAB radio app does not work does not search it is like it is frozen any ideas how to get it working.

Hi,
I bought my Android Ford Stereo and Dab+ box in January - order number 100000461 and 100000462
from Autopumpkin.co.uk
The Dab+ box has been a bit of a failure for me as its unusable
You can search, find stations - but all are lost when you leave the app or switch off.
The search is frozen on restart so you cannot scan again.
I found the app in the OEM area of the stereo and so deleted the DAB+ app and then reinstalled.
Scan works first time, then is lost again when you switch off the stereo or leave the app.

Is there an updated DAB+ app which actually stores the channels?
As it is I have not used the DAB+ and feel I have wasted my money until the app actually works.

Really sorry for replying you late, cause I was ill and rest in hospital where there is no internet for right ear surgery, and my colleague forget to reply you here, hope you can understand!
Please uninstall the original DAB app, and install the new one from the following link to use to check. The new APP is with a different user interface as the following link, just compare incase you didn't install the new app succeed.

Hello.

I have the new dab app installed, but still can not get it to search. Nothing happends when I press search. Nothing happends when pressing the L-Band button either.

Would you mind check the following link video as referrence to operation?

If the above instruction didn't help you solve the issue, if maybe the DAB box or the wiring connection is problem. You may need to return to the seller and exchange new one.

Hi I have a problem with the DAB + receiver. It works only the right channel, the left channel is only a very low volume when fully turning up the volume. Is it possible that the fault with the DAB app update removes ist.Meine device is the model C0255. Greetings from Germany.

Thank you for you message!
This shouldn't be the new version app caused, but it mainly caused by the DAB box issue. First, could you please check the connection wire between the DAB box and the radio device? Maybe that wire is in bad condition and caused the right channel volume do not enter into the device so there is no audio output from left speakers.
