W0108 Touch Screen Failure

The touch screen has failed on my W0108 unit after just 4 months use. The screen is on but does not respond anymore.
I have been in touch with the UK distributor for this item , however they have refused to provide me with a UK Returns address and have refused to honor the 12 month warranty that was advertised with the unit when I made my purchase.
So far they have only syggested that I purchase a new screen and repair the unit myself. Not very helpful.
Is this a common failure on the W0108 model ?
Its very disappointing that a good product has been let down by appalling customer support in the UK and false claims of a 12 month warranty

Hi,
Could you please tell us your order number or buyer ID?
For the touch screen not responding issue, you can replace the touch screen to solve it.
If you are able and would like to replace it at your side, we can send a new touch screen to you.
We can send the touch screen it to you for free, you just need pay the shipping cost.
Or you can choose to return it back for repair.

Still waiting for the replacement screen I was promised in November. I guess Pumpkin can't be bothered to look after their customers.
What a shame. It was a good product let down by bad customer services for UK buyers.

You should misunderstood my customer service colleague.
The new replacement touch screen had been arranged to send out last Friday with the tracking number RS726890056NL .
