To solve the unit doesn't start on

Postby Jammy » Wed Feb 27, 2019 6:23 am

Dear customer,
If you face the issue that the unit doesn't start on fully(no light and no any display or sound), you can check it as follows:
1. Plug out the unit and start the car.
2. Test separately the power voltage of the yellow wire and the red wire from the Power cable. They both should have around 12V. Refer to the picture.

3. If you happen to have not a multimeter, you can directly connect the yellow wire and the red wire together(please note: don't make this for a long time or maybe drain up your battery).

In this case,
if the unit start on, that means there is no correct power on the yellow wire or the red wire or together, or the canbus if it is configured with the power cable. You need to check the source of these wire connection or consult the pumpkin customer service to change the canbus decode box.
If the unit still doesn't start on, next take apart the metal cover and test the voltage of some points on the mother board. Then feedback the parameters to our pumpkin customer service. See picture.

. If your mother board is different from the one in the picture, contact the pumpkin customer service for further help.
Any query,you can contact the pumpkin customer service.
You need to tell them your order number or ebay id so that they can confirm your unit . I suggest you show:
Your Amazon order ID&order date:
The details of the issue(when did it happen&what happened&what did you try to do to fix it);
Attachments(It couldn't be better if you would provide us with pictures or video link);
It will help us understand the issue and provide you right solution.
Your car model and made years;
Regards
