ipod not recognised

I bought the Pumpkin Stereo Head Unit with 6.95 inch LCD and the ipod will not work , it does pick up the ipod but no music is on the screen to choose from. I have replaced the cable straight from Pumpkin and still no goo, am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for your message!
When the ipod connected, can you please check if you have click the folder icon at the right bottom of the screen to choose music file from the iPod?
Some iPod will not direct load the music files, you need to choose it from the folder manually!
