iPod connection problems

I have just purchased the 10.1 inch double din android car radio unit.I am very happy but I have a problem.When I plug in my iPhone into the 30 pin connector(to access the music)the unit connects but doesn't list any of the content.I get a message no music.On one connection the iPod symbol had a tick next to it and it did list the contents.Even this time I couldn't access any songs.Please can you advise how to correct this.

Hi, our unit can support up to 64GB iPhone or iPod, please check your iPhone or use another iPhone/iPod to check.
And you can refer to the below attached pictures to find music and play it.

I have tried 2 different iPods and niether unit connects correctly.There is no ✔️Next to the iPod picture but it does have the correct iPod name.

I have posted a video to help describe my problem.Please can you help as I really like the unit but must have reliable IPod connection and playback.

Hi, you can try to do the factory settings restore, then unplug the iPod and reconnect it, then check if your iPod works.

I have tried that and the unit behaves the same way.Occasionally it will connect,but mostly it won't.It is frustrating.

Do you have any more suggestions please?Or do I just accept the iPod function isn't going to work correctly.

Hi, if you follow all our suggestion on the unit and try different iPod, sorry that I don't have further solution because I can hardly get the real reason which bring the iPod problem.

I did a factory reset which didn't solve the problem but I lost my DAB application.Please advise how I get this back urgently!,,
